We asked Nikki, co-owner of Crab Shed Salcombe, to share her favourite way of serving Crab Shed Salcombe's deliciously light white crab meat. Not a recipe as such, more a serving suggestion that takes only minutes to prepare. A popular pre-dinner nibble in the Horne household!
Take a suitable quantity of white crab meat, set to one side.
Mix together a small finely chopped mild chilli, squeeze of lemon or lime, chopped fresh dill or parsley and black pepper. Stir in a teaspoon of mayonnaise and a teaspoon of natural yoghurt. Mix with the crab meat.
Place on small oat crackers, crostini, little gem lettuce or slices of cucumber with a sprinkle of paprika on top.
