Enjoy the finest Crab Shed Salcombe crab at home - our white, brown and 50/50 crab meat is available to buy from us here on the quayside.

With a heavy heart, we are being forced to temporarily halt our Crab@home sales of our finest crab meat, processed by the Crab Shed Salcombe team here on the quayside.

The reason? Warming sea temperatures have led to an invasion of octopuses, which are eating the crabs before our fishermen can get to them. There is simply not enough crab being landed to supply Crab@Home retail sales as well as the Crab Shed Salcombe restaurant.

Local collection

Pre-arranged collection from Crab Shed Salcombe is available from 11am to 5pm. We supply 100% hand picked white, brown and 50/50 crab meat of the highest quality - all our crab is certified by SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval).

Please call c01548 844 280 to place your order and arrange collection. If we are busy during service and unable to pick up, please email your order to hello@crabshed.com. We recommend that you bring a cool bag with you when collecting.
